Synopsis court :
Des chrysalides humaines, fruits d’un univers plastique oppressant, éclosent et trouvent une issue vers la lumière dans la danse …

Synopsis long :
Dans un futur plastique et monochrome, des chrysalides humaines éclosent, telles des papillons, de ventres de plastiques recyclés. Leur pureté s’oppose à la noirceur de leur monde oppressant ; flottant en une nuée légère, aérienne, elles partent en quête d’une issue à leur prison industrielle, dans une danse aux accents poétiques.

Note d’intention :
Maxime Dos et Martin Harriague proposent une allégorie à cette quête actuelle de l’humanité, la sortie de ce monde prétendument civilisé, ultra-industrialisé. Pris en étau entre les injonctions à la production et à la consommation à outrance, et au recyclage, notre génération n’a de cesse de chercher une issue à ce tiraillement. Dans ce court-métrage tourné dans une usine de retraitement de plastique, Maxime et Martin mettent en exergue cette ambivalence en mêlant poésie, danse, pureté et innocence à un monde stérile, dur et sombre. Pourrait-on espérer qu’un jour, danse, poésie et recyclage se mêlent pour offrir des solutions à l’Humanité ?

In a plastic and bleak future, human chrysalises hatch like butterflies from recycled plastic wombs. Their purity opposes the darkness of their oppressive world; floating in a light, airy swarm, they search for a way out of their industrial prison, in a dance with poetic nuances.

Maxime Dos and Martin Harriague propose an allegory to this quest that humanity currently engages in, the exit from this supposedly civilized, ultra-industrialized world. Caught between the injunctions to produce and consume to no end, and to recycle, our generation is constantly looking for a way out of this tug of war. In this short film shot in a plastic reprocessing plant, Maxime and Martin highlight this quandary by mixing poetry, dance, purity and innocence against the backdrop of a sterile, hard and dark world. Could we hope that one day, dance, poetry and recycling could work together to offer solutions to Humanity?
